Originally conceived of by an
American artist in the early '80s, this uniquely natural setting
with an attractive rustic styled dwelling and studio has been the
home and workspace of a renowned Sri Lankan artist for close upon
two decades.
The house consists of three
connected sections with a living space, kitchen, bathroom and 3
bedrooms totalling 1500 sq.feet. Two large water tanks collect
rain-water from the roof, while a municipal water connection is also

and the studio. The studio is a separate building of 670 sq.feet in
similar rustic style. The large open workspace has a high roof and
